Capability
Multichannel communication
Email, SMS, messenger, push, web, chat and printed mail. From one system, with one history.

Every channel, one story.
Digital and print.
Right through to the personalised letter with a QR code.
Changing channel mid-sequence.
Whoever does not open gets the next route.
One permission, one frequency.
Steered across channels instead of per tool.
One customer. Many channels. One story.
Multichannel does not mean playing on many channels. You can already do that today, with seven tools and a lot of patience.
Multichannel means the channels know about each other. That the SMS does not go out when the email has already been opened. That the letter only goes to those who cannot be reached digitally. That everything lands in the same profile.
That is exactly what Caymland M4 delivers.
The channels
Digital:
- Email, from the newsletter through the bulk mailing to the single transactional message, with delivery monitoring and bounce handling
- SMS through connected delivery services, for reminders, confirmations and everything time-critical
- WhatsApp and messenger through established providers
- Web push straight into your visitors' browsers
- Your website, which changes per visitor instead of looking the same for everyone
- Live chat on your website, wired straight into the contact profile
- Overlays and call-to-action areas on your pages, delivered selectively
- Landing pages and forms as channels in their own right, not only as a destination
In print:
- Personalised direct mail on brand, with a personal QR code
- Brochure and material dispatch with order management and tracking
- Tasks for your team, when a phone call is the right channel
The difference from seven separate tools
One history. Every message sent, whichever way it went, sits in the same chronology for the contact. No piecing together, no "that must have been the other system".
One permission. Consents and blocks apply per channel, but they are managed in one place. An unsubscribe takes effect at once, no matter which sequence happens to be running.
One frequency control. You define how many messages a contact may receive in what period. Across all channels, not per tool.
One preferred channel. If a customer would rather have SMS than email, the system can honour that instead of sending both.
One evaluation. Comparing channels becomes possible, because everything lands in the same figures.
Changing channel as part of the sequence
The real gain shows when a sequence changes channel:
- Send an email, wait three days, and only those who did not open it get an SMS.
- Whoever does not react to that either and has no valid email address gets a letter.
- Whoever comes to your site through the QR code on that letter is recognised and sees personalised content.
- Whoever asks a question there in the chat lands with that question in the same profile.
This is not a vision of the future. It is a sequence built in one afternoon.
Deliverability taken seriously
Reach does not come from sending. It comes from arriving.
Caymland M4 processes bounces automatically, distinguishes hard from soft, removes dead addresses from the list and protects your sender reputation that way. When building up new sending routes, volume can be increased in controlled steps instead of risking everything on day one.
What this looks like day to day
The appointment reminder. Email a week before, SMS the day before, but only to those who did not open the email. The no-show rate drops noticeably; the send volume does not rise.
The win-back. Customers who can no longer be reached digitally get a personal letter with a QR code. Whoever scans it lands on a page that knows them, and is back on the digital channel.
The service occasion. A question in chat becomes a contact, the contact becomes a task, the task becomes a follow-up email. Without anyone copying anything.
Questions & answers
Frequently asked questions
Do we need a separate provider for every channel?
For delivery routes such as SMS or WhatsApp, yes — we connect established services there. The control, the content and the evaluation stay in Caymland M4.
Can we start small?
Yes. Most customers start with email and the website and add further channels without rebuilding the existing sequences.
How do we keep track of what a customer receives?
The contact profile holds the complete chronology across every channel, and the frequency rules cap the total.
Are unsubscribes honoured across channels?
Blocks apply per channel, so a newsletter unsubscribe does not block your appointment confirmations. It is all managed in one place.
