The form is not the goal. It is the beginning.

Most forms end in an email to a shared mailbox. From there into an Excel list. From there, if all goes well, eventually into a system.

Every one of those steps costs time, and every one loses data. The enquiry from Friday evening is handled on Tuesday. The registration lands in the list twice. The consent gets lost along the way.

In Caymland M4 the form is wired straight into everything. Submitting means: the contact is there, maintained, assigned, and the matching process starts.

Drag fields, label them, done. Text, choice, multiple choice, date, number, email, phone with format checking, country list, file upload, consent fields, free text blocks, hidden fields.

Plus the things that turn a form into a good form:

• Multi-step. Spread long forms over several steps, with a progress indicator. The abandonment rate drops noticeably.
• Conditional fields. Whoever picks "company" sees company fields. Whoever picks "private" does not.

You see what happens

For each form you see the submissions, how they develop over time and the individual records. You also see which contacts filled in which forms and when, right in the contact profile.

For multi-step forms it becomes visible at which step people drop out. That is the most concrete help for improvement there is.

Clean in data protection terms

Consent fields are more than a checkbox: the consent is documented with time and origin and takes effect immediately across the whole system. Double confirmation by email is built in where it is required.

What this looks like day to day
