Analytics & performance tracking

From a figure to a name to an action.

Connected.

Behaviour, campaign and revenue in the same evaluation.

Clickable.

Every metric becomes a contact list, and that becomes a campaign.

Cleanly collected.

Consent logic and configurable retention.

An open rate is not an insight

"The campaign went well. A 34 per cent open rate."

And then? You do not know which 34 per cent. You do not know whether it turned into revenue. You do not know whether the 66 per cent who did not open are lost or simply had the wrong channel.

Caymland M4 does not only measure, it connects. Because behaviour, contact data, campaigns and revenue sit in the same system, every figure leads to the people behind it.

How the data comes about in the first place, and how anonymous visitors become known contacts, is on the page Tracking & visitor identification.

What is measured

On your website: which pages are visited, for how long, in what order, on which device, where the visitor came from. Even before they are known. As soon as they identify themselves, the entire earlier journey is attributed to their profile.

In your communication: delivery, opens, clicks on individual links, replies, unsubscribes, bounces. Per message, per variant, per recipient.

In your campaigns: how many contacts stand at which step, where they get stuck, how long they take, how many come through.

In your forms and downloads: submissions, drop-off points in multi-step forms, which files are fetched by whom.

In your value creation: transactions, orders and revenue from connected systems, tied to the campaign they came from.

The decisive click: from a figure to a person

This is where Caymland M4 differs from a pure analysis tool.

Every metric is clickable. "412 clicks" becomes a list of 412 contacts. That list becomes a segment with one click. The segment becomes a campaign.

Analysis and action are no longer two separate steps with an export in between.

Retracing origin

Where do your best customers really come from?

Caymland M4 captures origin parameters from adverts, newsletters and links, and keeps them on the contact. On top come shortened, measurable links you can use anywhere, in printed materials and QR codes too.

That answers what many systems leave open: not which channel brought the most clicks, but which brought the customers who stayed.

When figures are not enough

Sometimes the figures tell you that something is not working, but not why. For cases like that, behaviour on your pages can be recorded so you can retrace what actually happened: where people hesitated, where they abandoned, where they clicked without anything happening.

A form nobody has submitted since the last update explains itself in two minutes instead of two weeks of discussion.

Collected in a compliant way

Behavioural data is only valuable when it is collected cleanly. Analysis in Caymland M4 is designed for the revised Swiss Act and the GDPR: with consent logic, with transparency about what is captured, and with the ability to remove data again.

What this looks like day to day

The channel question. After a quarter the evaluation shows that one channel delivers many clicks but hardly any conversions, while another brings few contacts, but very good ones. The budget shifts, with a reason.

The form abandonment. Step three loses half. The recording shows that a required field is not visible on a phone.

The quiet customer. A segment collects contacts whose activity has dropped noticeably over the last 90 days. The win-back starts before the cancellation arrives.

Questions & answers

Frequently asked questions

01

Does this replace our web analytics?

For the connection between behaviour and customer, yes. Classic reach analysis can continue alongside, and such tools can be connected.

02

Do we see individual people?

Known contacts, yes, within the consent given. Unknown visitors are counted anonymously until they identify themselves.

03

How long is data retained?

Retention periods are configurable.

04

Can we get the data into our BI tool?

Yes, through reports, exports and the API.

The difference in one sentence

Other systems deliver metrics. Caymland M4 delivers the name behind them.
